First things first...why "Leftout?" The name stems from the left-leaning philosophy espoused here, as well as the fact that progressive pro-lifers tend to feel "left out" of both liberal and pro-life groups. That's why this site was created.
If you're a pro-life liberal, I hope this site makes you feel a little less like the only Martian on your block.
If you're pro-life and, shall we say, have a problem with liberals (as all too many seem to, especially on the net), I hope you will see that liberals are not the enemy, and that liberalism is not at all incompatible with a pro-life position.
If you're pro-choice or undecided, I hope you will take the time to at least learn about a point of view you may have never heard before.
Leftout was launched on September 3, 1997. It's heavily under construction, naturally, so please bookmark it and check back often for new developments.
