Coming Attractions

Latest update, 4-Apr-2002: Here's the thing. I'm completely revamping the Seamless Garment Network site, plus I'm starting to work on a campaign site for a local Green congressional candidate. On top of that, I'm not exactly at the University anymore, so I've had to stop hosting Leftout on my cushy staff.uiuc.edu account and move everything over to prolife.liberals.com, which doesn't let me have a shell account. I gotta tell you, I really miss being able to ssh into my web host and hack everything in pico. Now I have to update the files locally, FTP them to the server, find the errors, correct them locally, FTP them to the server, lather, rinse, repeat. Bleah. I realize millions of people do this every day; I'm just spoiled.

On the plus side, the reason I'm not at the University anymore is because I quit my crappy job that was taking over my life and making me miserable (as well as seriously making me question my pro-life ethic, at least as regards one or two downright Dilbertian characters. If anyone from my old job is reading this, I'm very likely not referring to you. I doubt the people I'm referring to are interested in reading my web rantings.).

Anyway, Leftout isn't dead. Honest. It's just resting.

Here's some of the stuff I'm planning for the future:
